Objectives

Our primary objective was to equip students with experience and professional knowledge that would make them competitive when searching for a job. As a result, our top and shortage professions were both strengthened, and the vocational teachers received a new impulse and got to know the approach and tool system of their colleagues working in the foreign competition sphere. The participants gained insight into using new technological tools and methodologies and learned about the international work environment. There are many global companies in our city and the region, where the students can put their knowledge to good use in the future. Our institution was committed to intensively nurturing the acquired foreign relations and continuing to cooperate with foreign companies in the future. In addition to the professional competencies, a priority goal was to strengthen the professional language, so that they have a better chance of passing the language exam and to involve more instructors in language training. Our goal was to get to know the intercultural environment and be open to other cultures and circumstances, which can favor the free flow of EU labor. Also, we wanted to reduce fluctuation among students and teachers.

Background

Our school is committed to strengthening VET education and involvement in international blood circulation. With our first Erasmus+ mobility program, our goal was to make available professional practice opportunities in a corporate work environment that meets international standards in the main sectors of our school. In this way, we wanted to gain insight into the new technologies and work processes used in modern companies and the everyday life of international companies. We wanted to develop the professional foreign language competencies of the participants, as well as transversal skills such as intercultural skills, confident communication, independence, problem-solving, and European values. We would definitely have seen the strengthening of our international relations in order to maintain competitive education, and we would have liked a kind of professional refreshment for our students and teachers during the gray weekdays. With skill development based on learning outcomes, we wanted to pay special attention to reducing the differences between training and market expectations, searching for new development directions, and getting to know the latest innovative pedagogical tools.
