Objectives

The aim of the project was to give four professionals from our institution the opportunity to gain experience and learn good practices in four different areas. The aim was to study, through Matadero and Medilab, the various ways of disseminating and transmitting knowledge and the different methods used. In order to implement the project in Veszprém, we wanted to provide the participants in the mobility with experience, professional knowledge, the strengthening of the international dimension of education and training and intercultural dialogue. We studied the organisation's structure, its functioning, the artistic activities taking place in the institution, its communication and teaching methods in order to apply the knowledge gained to our project in Veszprém.

Background

By 2023 the House of Arts Veszprém aims to promote the spread of digital learning, support new ideas, develop innovative and multidisciplinary approaches and raise the level of digital learning for the 21st century through the Future Lab / Media Lab project. The aim is to make digital competences, knowledge and information about digital arts available to adult learners, as these are important and useful skills that can lead to advancement in the labour market and are in demand among adults. The implementation of the Future Lab / Media Lab project and through it the internationalisation of the institution and the knowledge of its users is the most important means to achieve these goals. For the successful implementation of the Future Lab / Media Lab we considered it necessary to study the operation and methods of an already implemented and successfully functioning foreign initiative and related institution, so that the project in Veszprém could be successful. The project serves the long-term development objectives of our European Development Plan and contributes to the adoption and adaptation of good practices and methods.
