We applied for this project as we wished to develop our skills as Primary School Teachers in a Gaelscoil Setting.
Through this project we wanted to target all four key areas of our European Development plan which were highlighted for improvement. We wanted our project to: -Promote intercultural competencies and enhanced awareness -Develop the online collaboration platform for preparation, dissemination and networking in order to develop future partnerships and projects -Strengthen the European collaboration among people involved in education - Allow us to network and create professional and personal relations with teachers from other countries -Provide insights into different education systems Our project aims were as follows: 1) Improve content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) 2) Making the most of using the locality and new school environs for outdoor and nature based education 3) Becoming a more inclusive school 4) Developing health and well-being in our staff and students The most relevant topics we wished to address were: -Health and well-being -Inclusion - equity -Key Competences (incl. mathematics and literacy) - basic skills
