Dunboyne College of Further Education is a one of the largest colleges of further education in the state. The current learner profile within the college is as follows: 85% of the learners within the college are in receipt of Government funding in the form of VTOS, Medical card, SUSI grant or Back To Education Allowance. Furthermore, 20% of the college intake each year are non-nationals. DCFE’s aim is to foster both equity and inclusion for all students and, by engaging in an Erasmus+ program, it allowed students with disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities to engage in a project which they may not necessarily have had access to without this opportunity.
