Even though not all mobilites were met the following objectives were met through the mobilites undertaken: In conjunction with the Bruges Communique (2011-2020) Mallow College hopes to set out a number of objectives like -providing an attractive and inclusive VET, -high-quality initial VET, -easily accessible and career-orientated continuing VET, -flexible systems of VET, based on a learning outcomes approach, -a European and training area, - substantially increased opportunities for transnational mobility of VET students and professionals, -easily accessible and high-quality lifelong information, guidance and counselling services.
Mallow College applied for this project for the following reasons:: •the creation of VET learners with European skills, • th enhancement of the appreciation of foreign languages and cultures, • readily equipped workforce, • knowledge sharing, • highlighting of broader European issues and discussion perhaps on Social media such as Brexit, • to entice more people from the public to sign up for a course at Mallow College, .to instill entrepreneurial basics in all students, . to gain new experiences and exchange of good practices, . to raise cultural and language awareness amongst the learners and the college, . to broaden the culture of the college, students, and the wider community.
