The initial objectives of the project were to enable young people to deliver messages to the audience with the help of the theatrical and interactive performances. We seeked to help young people to realize their expressive, communication potential and needs, hear their issues and equip them with the experience of intercultural work. The additional aims of the project were to stage the common flash-mob/performance called “Secret place” in order to open a hidden spot of the city, its architectural historical buildings and other beautiful and interesting objects. By finding the proper locations we were supposed to create interesting visual movement, voice performance using specifics of the place, and show it to the audience from a different perspective. With the common flashmob we were eager to show to people how they could make their vision wider to usual places through the performative action as well as turn attention of common citizens and tourists to this place and show the core of it. Thus we strived to practise performative and actors art for amateur youth to create a performative picture and also to use this knowledge in social life in future, develop international contacts and ideas exchange among youth. The idea resided in opening, developing and using the talents of each participant during the creation process. "The Secret place" was aimed to become the location for all the plays. One more goal was also to create a map with the help of which the audience would move from one spot to the other where the performances were to be delivered and the common physical theatre flashmob to be conducted. We had a strong incentive to address the issue of empowering young people with the help of their active contribution to the building of a better society. We wanted to empower youngsters to become more active in dealing with solutions and speak up their minds and rights in social life. Art was aimed to become the additional stimulus for their personal change and group input. Through their self-realization we seeked the possibility to deliver a socially wholesome message that could stir a change not only in society but also in their personal lives too. We aimed to reach the need of bringing the realities of youngsters from different cultures, and thus economic and social conditions, closer, which could enable to show how resembling they were, how the issues in concern interexchange.
