GTI's collaboration with over 50 European partners in engaging with the Erasmus + programme is testament to our commitment to meet local, national, and European needs with a proven track record of learner and staff mobility opportunities across the EU. This provision is at the core of GTI’s Erasmus + programme and promotes our internationalisation strategy. The focus on Erasmus+ activities is firmly embedded in the DNA of the teaching and management staff at GTI. Furthermore, Erasmus+ is an agenda item at all staff meetings. We collaborated with 10 project partners in Europe in this project (learner & staff mobilities). We were awarded the VET charter in 2015 and aimed to continue achieving Erasmus + objectives as per our internationalisation strategy. Also, the benefit to learners / staff vocational placements - 861 learners and 45 staff have been involved in both KA1 and KA2 projects since 2008 and we wanted to continue our provision of placements on an inclusive basis. This project brings our involvement in KA1 projects under the 2015-2021 Erasmus+ programme to an end. We look forward to continued participation in European Commission funded projects as we commence with our new Erasmus+ VET Accreditation.
