Background

The GREEN sector connected to SUSTAINABILITY, ENVIRONMENT and TERRITORY PROTECTION is at the center of the international and EU scene (UN Agenda 2030), in consideration of the radical changes in terms of transformation of the territory and related ecosystems that are taking place at a global and local level. To respond effectively to these important challenges, it is necessary to implement effective policies for the protection and sustainable use of the territory, as well as to train new SPECIALIZED PROFESSIONAL FIGURES capable of responding to the need for innovation and technological development of companies in the sector. To this end, the SEED project consortium aimed at promoting the personal, civic, cultural and professional growth of the young participants (recent graduates and students) of the sending schools, offering them international work-based experiences aimed at acquiring specific skills in their field of study. The SEED project specifically involved 37 recent graduates and 137 students from the sending schools of the consortium with specializations in the areas of ENVIRONMENTAL AND TERRITORY MANAGEMENT and ENVIRONMENTAL BIOTECHNOLOGY and other similar and/or compatible with the green and sustainability fields.
