The main objectives of the project are to increase the employability of young people, facilitate the matching between participants and host companies, and improve the technical and professional skills of learners. In addition, the project has achieved the following objectives: • Promote on-the-job training after qualification/diploma, providing market-oriented skills • Develop language, intercultural and problem-solving skills in international contexts • Facilitate the recognition and certification of participants' skills, by putting them in contact with European companies • Encourage the use of European tools to enrich the professional portfolio, offering a competitive advantage in the labour market • Create significant value for CIOFS-FP ETS staff by sharing know-how in the management of transnational initiatives • Expand the internationalization of the IFP offer of the CIOFS-FP ETS system, opening the doors to transnational learning opportunities for students • Promote cultural changes that support European citizenship, inclusion and interculturality
CIOFS-FP ETS started its Erasmus+ project in the 2020 call with the aim of developing, within the framework of the European development plan, a path aimed at offering learners enrolled in vocational training courses the opportunity to access high-level training and professional work-based learning experiences abroad. The target groups of the interventions promoted within the framework of the European development plan are young students, newly qualified and newly graduated students who have been involved in targeted paths of vocational training, qualification, specialization, specialized orientation and job insertion. The project had a duration of 36 months (24 initially planned, to which were added a further 12 months granted through an extension to better manage the Covid-19 emergency) and 92 learner mobilities were realized, of which 84 ErasmusPro. The medium-long term strategic planning was further strengthened by CIOFS-FP ETS with the obtention of the Accreditation within the Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027 for which two years have currently been implemented (one of which is currently ongoing).
