Background

After years of experience in the Erasmus Key 2 projects, with several VET schools from other countries, with whom we cooperated in the Erasmus Key action 1 projects, we were able to see the importance of teacher training and job shadowing activities for improving students' learning. The contact with foreign partner schools also allowed us to verify how important it was for students to carry out training periods abroad. Given the socio-cultural background of our students, this project gave them the opportunity to get to know and approach new cultures and to live a unique experience both professionally and personally. The desire to renew our school system makes it necessary to acquire the necessary tools and methodologies to implement effective action strategies aimed at the 'internationalisation' of schools. Internationalisation therefore represents a challenge, as well as an opportunity, for a school that is in step with the times and knows how to put an international vision open to the future at the centre of its educational and training actions
