2020-1-IT01-KA116-0079012020VET learner and staff mobility with VET mobility charterfinalized
Countries: IT · Grant: €137,145

Objectives

The project achieved its objectives at very satisfactory level, despite the problems caused by the pandemic which slowed down the organization of the mobilities abroad. In any case, the school's training offer has been improved and strenghten, offering to the learners the opportunity to develop technical, professional, language and personal skills through the mobilities abroad and to motivate students at risk of dropping out helping them to finish the training path. For recent graduates, the improvement of skills gave the chance to enhance CVs, and consequently a better attractiveness on the job market. For the school, the project gave the chance to: - improve digital skills, also due to Covid which forced the promoter to develop and strengthen online and remote working methodologies, also with participants and during several phases of the project - improve European skills and active citizenship, also dealing with tolerance and equal opportunities (also thanks to intercultural learning skills, developped during the mobilities) - strengthen the network at local and international level, introducing new partners and improving relationships with the existing ones

Background

The project contributed to complete the five-year cycle established by the VET Charter obtained by the promoter in 2015. The project fits perfectly into the school's internationalization plan and contributes to improve general skills of the staff who dealt with the project (teachers, admin officers, director) and also of the participants (students, recent graduates and staff). The development of skills have been developped both at a technical, professional and language level (through the mobilities abroad) and, above all, developping strong personal skills, especially for learners and younger participants. Furthermore, the emergency due to the pandemic, that afflicted the majority of the duration of the project, contributed to implement new working methodologies and to modify partially the objectives and activities carried out during the project.
