The project aimed to promote the activation and strengthening of personal and professional skills with multiple targets: improving employability, opening opportunities in the labour market at an European level through a constant dialogue between the world of education and the business environment. The main goal of FYWE3 was to carry out a three-week mobility experience which can start up and reinforce on key competences for lifelong learning (Council Recommendation of 22 May 2018) and vocational/professional skills to favour a greater employability, also open to a European labour market.,involving 76 students (4 of them students with special needs – disability - and many of them disadvantaged students) attending the 4th/5th year in Vocational and Technical member schools. Another important goal was the involvement of the schools attended by the beneficiaries : the teachers were able to share best practices particularly in the refinement of the assessment/certification tools, so they could recognize the acquired skills in mobility within the curricula evaluations.
The project, promoted by the “Consorzio degli Istituti Professionali”, a network of more than 50 Vocational and Technical Schools from 9 different Italian regions, wanted to give an answer to the needs of schools and labour market, providing mobility experiences for students within their school curriculum. The project team took also advantage of the experience gained over the years both in Mobility projects and in other European Projects, in particular Erasmus+ KA2 projects TrainIoT (on Internet of things) , Peerment (on teachers training) , NAVE2 (Network for the Advancement of Vocational Education in Europe) To carry out the project activities, both in the choice of methods and in the used tools, we also referred to former experience and to the results produced in the LdV project EREIVET (527183-LLP-1-2012-1DE-LEONARDO-LNW) for the important contribution on implementation of the ECVET instruments. Moreover CIP counts on a strong partnership which involves Portuguese, Spanish, Irish, Dutch, Finnish and French vocational and educational bodies, all deeply linked to the world of work; positions tasks and procedures have been clearly determined among them through constant contacts and formal agreements – MoU and Quality Charter
