Objectives

Specific objectives (some of which are linked to the above general aims) and are integral parts of the first and second Accreditations. - Extend the international dimension of our school making it part of a larger European context. - Develop further the language competencies of the participants (most of them attend the language Courses) during their stay in the EU. - Increase the role of our school on local territory thanks to sharing financial support with teachers in the Province. - Improve the visibility of our school’s work through project dissemination and promote good practice. - Foster connection between academic studies and the world of work thanks to professional placements connected to the syllabi. - Develop essential cross-curricula skills such as cooperation, problem solving, flexibility and entrepreneurship. - Promote inclusion through the mobility of special needs students. - Enrich learning pathways and the curriculum, thanks to improvement in the internationalisation of our school.

Background

This project was the last of the Mobility Charter 2015-2016 to be financed and had to be postponed for a year due to the pandemic, which led to an overlapping with the first one of the second Accreditation and this caused some challenging organisational difficulties regarding beneficiary flow. Despite this, our efforts proved rewarding and the longstanding international dimension that distinguishes the Scalcerle actually flourished. This significant objective, which transfomed into a positive result, is closely linked to two essential targets within our project actions. The first regards the impact it had on the student transnational paths, which derives from the merging of the VET mobility goals with the learner syllabi; the second concerns the role that our school plays locally, which is connected to the choice of sharing our staff grants with other schools throughout the Province. Finally, the fact that our school was a pioneer for European projects 30 years ago continues to drive us along this international path and we believe that only through collaboration and comparison with other cultures can we expect to foster growth and progress for our students, staff and contemporary context.
