Objectives

The objectives that the Consortium wanted to pursue are the following: • Increase the language and digital skills of all participants. • Strengthen the quality of teaching and learning. • Strengthen the spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship of students. • Increase the level of inclusion. • Increase the employment potential and career prospects of students. • Increase opportunities for staff career and professional development. • Strengthen intercultural awareness and active participation in society. The transnational internship is aimed primarily at fourth grade students and constitutes an enriching experience for completing the training process. The goal was to improve skills on a personal, intercultural and linguistic, technical and operational level and acquire the soft skills necessary to enter the world of work or to continue their studies, with a view to lifelong learning.

Background

The Consortium is composed by the I.I.S. "Levi-Ponti", the "E. Majorana-Corner ", the I.I.S. "8 Marzo-Lorenz" and A.P.I.C. (Association of Community Initiatives Programs). The first 3 are I.S.S. of the Mirano School District in the province of Venice which welcome over 4200 students, the fourth partner is an association with over 25 years of experience in the management of community programs. The Institutes make a complete educational offer available to users. Thanks to the MIFORMO 6 project, our organization has offered the opportunity for learning mobility to students, enriching the training offer and establishing a stronger contact with the production realities of the territory. The project gave the opportunity to 160 students to carry out a 4-week professional internship abroad in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, chemistry, construction, agro-technical, business and administration, electronics, information technology, tourism, technical assistance and maintenance . In the summer 2022, 10 staff mobilities took place too, to improve staff professionalism.
