With this mobility project ENAC wanted to respond to one of the objectives of its internationalization strategy, namely that of "Promoting the internationalization of the educational offerings of Canossian VET centres" and, in particular, of the operational objective of "Improving the quantity and quality of outgoing mobility." More generally, it was intended to offer students and teachers of the Canossian network the opportunity to develop international skills and to compare themselves with training institutions in other countries by fostering the exchange of best practices and innovation processes. With this project it was also intended to respond to a further specific objective, namely to "extend, innovate and enhance collaborations with European and international partners and networks" through 1) the re-evaluation of areas/countries in which to invest and 2) the strengthening or initiation of new collaborations with selected partners.
In 2020, the second mobility project with the VET Charter was presented in order to implement staff and student mobility, short and long, for all Canossian centres, mainly during 2021 and until the spring of 2022. Through these types of projects and in accordance with the first objective of its Internationalization Strategy, ENAC intends to offer its students and staff the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a globalized world. In this sense, in fact, transnational mobilities allow them to experience different cultures and traditions, become increasingly aware of being part of a changing and strongly connected global village.
