Background

The Euroexp project is coordinated by the institute G.B. Cerletti in Conegliano (TV), project leader of a consortium made up of three other secondary institutes of the same province. The territory in which these school institutions operate represents an Italian excellence, awarded as UNESCO heritage site thanks to the Prosecco hills. This is an area that drives the agricultural economy thanks to a strong export, tourism and the services related to these sectors. The 2020 edition of the project concludes the 2014-2020 Erasmus cycle in the context of the Vet Charter, and it still provides learners and staff with training opportunities that allow them to contribute to the economy and quality of their own territory. To pursue these goals, the project further strengthens the ties with the educational and productive realities of the territory, thus contributing to reduce the gap between the educational and working fields. Internships abroad allow learners to acquire soft and professional skills that facilitate their employability, and it also helps to improve their language skills, widen their own horizons and, living in another cultural context, to become aware of the values of European citizenship and respect for the diversity.
