Objectives

Although with some remodelling due to the pandemic, the project aimed at a return to normality after the Covid pandemic, maintaining physical mobility and internships in the company as essential. Both for students still in the training course and for recent graduates, the project created internship experiences similar to the course of study, in which students could experience a real work environment. Strong importance has been given to the objective of developing soft skills that are transversally necessary both in different types of work environments, and for study and life: personal and time organization, punctuality, assumption of responsibility and commitment, flexibility , ability to team up and collaborate, autonomy. The aim was to exercise the ability to learn and apply new knowledge, and linguistic competence. With the mobility of the staff, the schools have continued to pursue the renewal of teaching, for a more engaging and inclusive teaching.

Background

The project was carried out by a consortium of 5 Belluno schools. In the province of Belluno, the small business represents the most widespread form of entrepreneurship, characterized by development and processes of continuous innovation on the production level and, consequently, on that of research and applied knowledge. It is an area which, as far as the tourism sector and associated related industries are concerned, is preparing for challenges of international importance, such as Cortina 2026, which will see the entire area involved in the Winter Olympics. The internationalization of the main economic sectors expresses the need for operators who have aptitudes and transversal and professional skills suitable for entering this job market. The consortium schools are strongly committed to reducing the distance between training and the world of work; through Erasmus mobility, with its work-based learning experience, they intend to enable future operators and technicians to acquire those intercultural, relational and linguistic skills that constitute the requisite for an innovation within the reach of small local businesses that necessarily have to measure themselves in international contexts .
