The Agency for Training, Guidance and Employment of the Province of Como presented the project as part of its Mobility Charter, obtained in 2016, in the vocational training sector.
The project had the objective of consolidating the Erasmus+ activities aimed at students, young graduates and trainers that the Training Agency of the Province of Como has planned in its European Internationalization Strategy 2016-2020. The project was developed during the pandemic period and therefore its original programming was extensively modified and adapted to the contingent situation, with the aim of maintaining the international activities of AFOL COMO by implementing them according to safety and feasibility conditions in the various destination countries. AFOL COMO promotes internships in Europe in the field of cooking, pastry, restaurant service, bar, hairdressing and aesthetics. It has active collaborations with educational institutions and companies in five European countries. The following objectives are pursued through professional traineeships in Europe: - Develop the knowledge of European professional techniques and cultures for AFOL COMO students, graduates and trainers - Foster the development of transversal skills in young recipients, with particular reference to autonomy, the ability to solve problems and interpersonal relationships - Promote the knowledge of European languages
