The School wants to combat the abandonment with the introduction of didactic and modern methodologies using experiences that improve its own educational system. In particular: • to build an international and solid network in order to acquire awareness on the organization of European School systems; • to introduce digital didactic methodologies because of modernizing and internationalizing the school with CLIL method; • to increase teaching procedures that foresee the use of ICT (app, digital tools, Smart TV-MIRRORING, forum, LIM and Tablet); • to enhance techniques of Circle time, Cooperative Learning and Role playing; • to propose Financial and Entrepreneurial Education; • to recommend soft skills and emotional intelligence of the teachers for a communication style closest to the students; • to renovate analysis and interpreting systems of the data who come from economic realities in order to condition the School-Work; • to improve the quality of the Didactic Offer and the dissemination of new didactic methodologies among teachers and A.T.A Staff that they don’t take part in it.
"IPALB-TUR in Europe" was born to warn and fight against the school drop-out recorded by the Tourism, Food and Wine and Hospitality Vocational High School "Villa San Giovanni", working on overcoming of the distance between theory and practice (job shadowing for the development of staff's empathic and soft skills with a qualitative-quantitative impact on school-work relationships) and on enhancing of the training attractiveness (methodologies closest to "digital native" students).
