Objectives

The Institute opted for a comprehensive and integrated approach involving all staff. Teaching staff and management have identified a number of objectives that teachers should have achieved in the context of mobility and European cooperation. Four key goals have been defined: 1. growth of teachers' skills in the field of European design and interactive lessons, development of good practice, human growth and teaching of students; 2. acquisition of innovative and creative educational approaches through comparison with other European realities; 3. improvement of the quality and effectiveness of teaching methodologies through problem-solving, critical thinking and non-formal learning activities; 4. improving lifelong learning at all levels by promoting equity, social cohesion, active citizenship, creativity and innovation. Thanks to the constant work of training, continued also at the Institute and not only during the mobility weeks, the teachers could work on the objectives and achieve more than satisfactory results that positively affected the whole Institute.

Background

The Paritario Bonifacio VIII Institute is modernizing and internationalizing more and more. Participation in the KA101 action was born from an analysis of the needs and requirements of the Institute, such as the need to implement the school model following three paths: innovation, creativity and inclusion. Participation in the KA1 programme has been an investment in the training of teachers to have, as in a domino, a positive impact on pupils and colleagues. The project is part of the European School Development Plan. Thanks to a more European approach to teaching, one of the objectives of the 2030 Agenda can be met, in particular Objective 4: To provide quality, equitable and inclusive education and learning opportunities for all. It can be said that our Institute has decided to accept the challenge of the United Nations, to analyse its points and to try to change things. To achieve these objectives, the Erasmus+ programmes are a valuable tool for growth. With the 2020 project, it was decided to work on the training of teachers and the awareness of being European citizens, responding effectively, innovatively and creatively to the challenges of our time.
