The Education Policy Plan of the Atri Comprehensive Institute includes the European Union education and training issues. Our school has significant previous experiences in the management of European Projects, aimed to promote mobility and lifelong learning. The project preparation started from the economical and socio-cultural analysis of the school context. The valorisation of the local landmarks could represent a great opportunity for the development of employment, the growth of agriculture, of industry, and of the tertiary sector. The artistic and historical heritage are important strengths that could improve the land productivity and its attractiveness for new investments and life settlements. This evidence brings us to foster the development of entrepeneurship, as a way of active citizenship, for the creation of a personal life plan. According to the "EntreComp 2016" Framework, the main aim of our project is the implementation of a new way of schooling, a competency-based approach which underlines the importance and relevance of the link among formal, creative and lab-based learning.
