The key areas of activity to be improved - and how to improve them - by the consortium partners are as follows: 1) Skills related to inclusion processes. School inclusion is not limited to the mere possibility of easy enrolment in school, even by foreign children. The inclusive school implies the improvement of the following criteria of appropriateness of the services: a) accessibility (physical and relational); b) acceptability (cultural, psychological, in tune with the family's parental style); c) participation (being an active and not passive part of the organisation and its processes); d) relevance and pertinence (proposing experiences and activities that are perceived as meaningful and included in the more overall life experience by all the children and families involved in the pre-school service. 2) Competences related to outdoor education. 3) Competences in the use of digital tools for teaching. 4) Strengthening of the international dimension.
The consortium has identified a number of training needs for the staff of its services. This is the result of a series of planning meetings that took place in 2018 and in which common elements emerged from experiences previously made in the framework of E+/LLP projects (Imola, Cavriago, Parma, Forlì) or individual LLP mobility (Meldola) that are intended to be further strengthened and rooted in the training paths of the staff of the consortium organisations. The elements identified reflect both the analysis of training needs expressed individually by potential participants and the training needs defined by each of the 6 departments in relation to the achievement of the strategic quality objectives set by their respective service charters. The following training needs were identified 1) to increase knowledge and skills on methodologies related to outdoor education; 2) to increase the use of digital tools during daily activities; 3) to promote transcultural competences in teachers in order to promote greater inclusion of foreign families 4) to strengthen the European dimension of the service
