The main objective is to train a citizen and provide him/her with the necessary instruments both to enter the aviation working world and to continue training at universities or high education institutions which can certify specific professional skills. Moreover, our region is on the edge of Europe both in terms of physical distance from all political and cultural centers and for the negative economic gap that has characterized our areas for many decades. Our citizens aspire to feel European but they are still not. This goal presupposes the ability to adjust to European standards, on which postgraduate studies in our field are based. Bringing us closer to Europe has always been a goal pursued by exchanges with students and teachers from other nations and school partnerships. With regards to needs, in order to foster the acquisition of the European dimension, we believe it is necessary for teachers to consider the international vision as their goal and to acquire additional language and methodological skills by training experiences abroad. For this reason teacher training, particularly of the many newcomers, is vital.
