Our institution has always aimed to provide effective and high-quality education that meets ever-changing and current expectations and needs, with the awareness of having to address socioeconomic, environmental, demographic, and technological challenges in the years to come. The following were our summarized objectives: to improve the skills of school staff and enhance the quality of teaching and learning; to innovate teaching methods and curricula; to expand the knowledge and understanding of the educational policies and practices of European countries; to initiate changes in terms of modernization and internationalization of the school; to enhance opportunities for professional development and career advancement for school personnel; to increase motivation and satisfaction in their daily work.
The "Duni Levi" Institute is the result of the merger of two prestigious schools,both of which are flagship institutions in our community.The former, namely the "E.Duni" Classical High School,stands as the oldest educational institution in the city. The latter,the "C.Levi" Artistic High School,holds the distinction of being the sole Art School in a city renowned for its artistic heritage.Both institutions, therefore, boast a long-standing educational tradition deeply rooted in the collective memory of the city and the recollections of those who have attended them. Memories often proudly passed down from one generation to another.The true challenge for us was therefore to transform our rich tradition into a source of strength, rather than merely an inheritance to be passed down. We needed to take action in the present to ensure the well-being of our community. In order to ensure the preservation of tradition, we strongly felt the need to implement new actions and processes that would yield tangible and quantifiable benefits. Besides we had a pressing need following the Covid-19 emergency, which required immediate attention. After careful consideration, we chose the only program that could meet all of our needs and expectations.
