Objectives

Through this project, we achieved the following objectives: - Enhance the overall well-being at school, both for students and the personnel working within the institution, including the acquisition of soft skills. - Adopt new methodological and didactic strategies to promote the personalization/individualization of the teaching-learning process and foster greater inclusion of special needs, with positive implications for the academic results of all students in the institute. - Acquire new digital skills, useful for improving motivation, active participation, and creativity of students. - Improve the English language proficiency of teachers (by promoting the acquisition of language certifications) and students, also through CLIL activities. - Promote the internationalization of education to encourage active engagement in European citizenship. - Enhance communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and active listening, while developing greater leadership skills. - Improve the ability to work in teams, manage conflicts, and handle stressful situations.

Background

Since 2015, the institute has initiated a process of internationalization by establishing a working group that has evolved over the years. This group proposed participation in the Erasmus+ program, responding to various calls for KA1 and KA02 projects. The aim was to enhance the professional skills of the staff, develop effective teaching methods, and collaborate with schools from other European nations to promote the exchange of best practices. The application to this project, in continuity with previous initiatives, identified new objectives aligned with the priorities of Europe 2020. These include strengthening the linguistic and methodological skills of some teachers, involving new personnel, consolidating collaborative relationships with specific institutes, and initiating forms of collaboration with European organizations and schools.
