The objectives that the institution wanted to achieve and succeeded in its aim were: -strengthen linguistic skills and reach B1 level for teachers of non-linguistic subjects; - improve and strengthen innovative aspects in the methodology of foreign language teaching; -develop ideas and teaching strategies to make lessons more stimulating in all disciplines; -create learning environments on the web and explore a range of more current digital tools; -create opportunities for educational, organisational, managerial and intercultural exchange with European course Providers and with teachers from other countries who attended the selected courses, thus creating a European dimension; - ensure that mobile and digital technologies become promoters of inclusive teaching/learning; - acquire intercultural communication skills by teaching complexity, pluralism and inclusion; - improve school organisation, encouraging the participation of non-teaching staff (DS and DSGA).
From the analysis of the teachers' training needs, detected by the RAV (Self-Assessment Report) by the PdM (Improvement Plan), included in the PTOF, done through teachers' questionnaires, what emerged was that 34.8% of the teachers interviewed requested basic English courses, 37% advanced English courses and 73% were interested in courses about the use of multimedia tools and teaching innovative methodologies; hence the will of our school to offer participants the opportunity to enrich their linguistic, intercultural, methodological and digital experience, through the exchange and dialogue between teachers of different nationalities and with trainers in the European panorama, in order to learn new communication and technological codes to use in class with students who represent the "digital generation".
