While the status of the basic skills in our school (literacy, mathematics, science....) was well established, the promotion of the transversal skills and European key competencies was lagging behind. We had reformed the school curriculum to integrate transversal skills, but this was not done consistently. We reformed the curriculum toward a learning outcome approach, this meant that instead of focusing only on subject content they contain statements summarising what students are supposed to know, understand or be able to do at given stages of the learning process of a subject. We made significant progress in incorporating the European key competences into curricula and other documents howewer challenges remained in charge to teachers for the practical implementation of the reformed curricula throughout ICT. It follows that the main reason of the project application was to improving European Key competencies recalling the need to improve teacher competencies, as well as to promote professional values and attitudes throughout ICT. The project aimed to renew the teaching and managing methods in our school starting using an European Framework of Reference on ICT, DigiComp Edu.
