The long-term learning outcomes should have an impact on the training systems with the use of new resources able to facilitate the transnational mobilities and to develop a sustainable transnational cooperation. The implementation of this Erasmus plus project has given the teachers at this school the opportunities to widen their way of thinking and be sensitive towards the possible chances, towards innovation, to mature a deeper knowledge of the culture of the others; to be open and tolerant within the school community. These following points are the major areas where the project should create a wider development: 1. to develop the soft skills according to the European standards. 2 to widen the languages competences according to the 21st Century needs. 3. to develop and diversify the learning environment (physical and virtual) to enhance the students ‘creativity, based on their personal needs, in order to have a more appropriate approach with the world of work. 4.to develop digital competences. 5 to. establish and develop international cooperation based on Erasmus+.
This application was strongly supported by: - a group of teachers of foreign languages who had had the opportunities to work with teachers of other nationalities. This experience made those foreign languages teachers aware that they needed to learn and implement new educational strategies in order to update the methodology in the Italian school and offer everybody the opportunities to have a much more modern, flexible and inclusive teaching system, where everybody should be respected in their wellbeing. They were willing to try to create a wider natural environment where it could be easier to become more sensible towards the concept of European citizenship. - CLIL teachers (new innovative teaching strategies). - ESABAC teachers. - those teachers who were trying to ease the gap between the school and the working systems of the contemporary society, and at the same time trying to respect the needs of the students, teachers, families and of the local, and national, community to be ready for the international scenario.
