The LKL Association, with the implementation of the BEST - Better Education for Specialists and Tutors project, intended: - Improve the skills and training model offered by the non-profit organization to its members, collaborators and volunteers; - Support the professional development of those who work and participate in the activities carried out by the non-profit organization; - Support the modernisation, attractiveness and internationalization of the non-profit training and educational offer; - Offer its collaborators/staff the opportunity to build networks of international contacts and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity; - Develop language skills.
The European Commission has placed increasing emphasis in recent years on the role of mobility centered on learning, the so-called Learning Mobility as an engine of growth and development of European cohesion. The previous European mobility initiatives of the staff of the LKL association carried out within strategic partnership projects (KA2), had the main impact among all the members and the staff of the non-profit organization the birth of awareness of the importance of the European dimension of education. From this point of view, it has become a duty to offer an opportunity to young and old among members and collaborators of the Association, i.e. teachers, trainers, educators and socio-educational animators, who have shown over the years the desire to expand their cultural and professional background, offering them an opportunity to get involved to improve their skills, by attending structured training courses and exchanging good practices between different pedagogical and training systems.
