Objectives

“Youth in touch” is an international project which will be held in a period of 6 months with the collaboration of 5 partner organizations from 5 different countries: Italy, Estonia, Spain, Portugal and Latvia. It includes a series of interconnected activities where youth workers and youth from different cultural backgrounds will meet and experience non-formal and informal learning in intercultural environment during the preparation, the implementation and the dissemination of a 8-days Youth Exchange. The main purpose is to analyze and combine different forms of contact to find a balance for the self- development of an individual who is influenced by the modernity and the new technologies of 21th century, an individual who feels more and more reluctant to physical contact. Besides, technology is playing a very important role in the development of our society. This project aims to guide participants to a balance through all different forms of contact. Considering this background, we defined 4 objectives to reach with the project, and especially with main Activity, that is a Youth Exchange which will be held from 01.12.2020 to 10.12.2020 in Pragelato, Italy: -To guide 20 participants and 5 leaders from each partner organization, from 5 different countries during 8 days of Youth Exchange, to discover themselves in relation to one person, to a group, to future partners, to a community, to the material world, and to themselves, through the exploration of different forms of contact (communicative, physical, digital and more.) -To give to 5 partner organizations in 6 month of collaboration the opportunity to compare and find new methods, to involve young people in the specific association and in the local community, to promote diversity, intercultural dialogue, tolerance between young people from different countries and coming from different backgrounds and to establish relationships for future projects. -To invite 25 participants to get in touch with the local community of Borgata Chezal, Pragelato and with the local communities of the other partner organizations, to open new possibilities of cooperation and solidarity with local partners and with the community. -To share the results of the project in one month after the end of the youth exchange at international level, that is with the sharing of materials and motivational and informational videos realized during the project on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in order to reach also organizations and countries not involved during the project and open the possibilities for future collaborations.
