Our main objective was to create a space for the youth where they could share knowledge, experiences and reflections about the topics of human rights; inclusion of people with fewer opportunities, in particular of people with disabilities; international cooperation projects and environmental sustainability through a non formal methodology. With this project, we wanted to achieve a self and common reflection that could permit youth to me more aware of the global context we live in and the active role and commitment each of them could have, especially regarding the reality of people with disabilities in Europe and in other continents, and the big impact our daily behaviors have on the environment. Also, we wanted to create a space where youth could interact informally and be actively involved to build a global and european identity, being able to practice foreign languages, learn new skills by their own through practical activities, games, music, traditional food and spontaneous exchanges. Being in a rural environment and in a communitarian setting, we also wanted to achieve higher awareness on the topic of sustainability and the connection with nature. Overall, the objectives of this project were to make a more conscious youth on different aspects, such as the environment, European and non-European life and meaning, cooperation with other countries and to unite people with Earth through various activities.
