Objectives

During the writing of the project, the ever-increasing phenomenon of immigration had sparked hatred on the part of the entire Sicilian population also thanks to the landing at the time of the Alan Kurdi ship in the port of Messina. With the passing of the days and the landings we realized that even the youngest were driven by an unmotivated hatred often reflected in the thoughts of adults and politicians. Our aim was precisely to "educate" young people for inclusion and integration, through non-formal education. The objectives were: - foster a sense of belonging to a community for both Italian and foreign citizens; - Promote education in altruism, respect, dialogue, understanding, solidarity, cooperation, to friendship, equality, peace towards all people and all cultures. - Develop awareness of diversity as a “value” to be lived and shared. - Promote the formation of the person respecting their individuality. - Promote the development of social skills that allow interaction with each other. - promote the knowledge of new cultures and practices of young immigrants living on the European territory; - strengthen linguistic knowledge; - strengthen civic sense and promote social inclusion; - to increase self-esteem and personal development;
