Objectives

It is important to understand that having soft skills in the curriculum is no longer an optional: the transversal skills are those that allow each worker to make a leap forward in their career, especially in the current / future market. According to research published in May 2018 by McKinsey, the demand for soft skills will increase by 30% by 2030. An Adecco research carried out with the Bicocca University of Milan and Jobpricing has also found that more and more soft skills will determine the employability of the future with a positive impact also on wages resulting in increases of up to 42% more. The objectives set for "A matter of soft skills" are: - Create a multicultural space suitable for the discussion regarding soft skills for 37 participants from Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovakia - Identify and enhance the soft skills required in today's and future labor market in order to increase the job opportunities of the participants - Increase awareness of the importance of soft skills in the job market - Inspire participants to promote the development of transversal skills among their colleagues, target groups of young people and other youth organizations. - Promote non-formal education and its methods to enhance transversal skills
