Objectives

Several were the purposes that the project aimed to achieve: The specific objective of the project was centered on the desire to increase the awareness of the participants around the issue of discrimination and social exclusion through the use of theater as a means of expression and personification with the other. More in detail we can summarize: 1) To improve the ability of critical thinking and exchange of ideas, solidarity and interculturality. For this reason the activities aimed to promote social and intercultural dialogue, sharing the experiences and perceptions of each participant. This communication exchange aimed to improve critical skills and promote a confrontation of ideas by all the participants involved. 2) Improve communication and expressive metalinguistic skills through theater. When the desire to express an idea emerges, it is appropriate to have the tools to express it in an appropriate and constructive way. The activities, therefore, aimed to illustrate and transmit these tools and to make communication between facilitators and participants unique and effective. 3) Enhance interpersonal relationships, expand the "comfort zone" of the participants and create new friendships through activities, free moments, intercultural evenings and meals together. 4) The principles: the current educational systems of the various countries tend to focus too much and only on the intellectual sphere, leaving out the body dimension and its ability to express itself through the gestural lexicon. Awareness of one's own body and space; their limits, their possibilities and their energy; the mutual relationship; respect, listening, sharing; amazement/return to amazement; the new experience and a different point of view were the basis of the project, areas on which we worked every day. 5) To stimulate the will and the ability to act actively and bring out the personalities of the participants. The activities offered the guys the opportunity to express themselves freely through the voice, the body and more generally by stimulating their creativity and their sense of initiative, increasing their awareness of themselves and their means, increasing their confidence and esteem. 6) Another objective was to make the participants fully aware of the fact that international mobility and the opportunities that the European Union makes available to young people should be considered as precious, particularly useful and necessary opportunities for their own emancipation and education. To stimulate the desire to know their places and their stories, but also to define projects to re-evaluate their territories, social problems and future generations. 7) Experiment with new pedagogical theories of learning through non-formal education methodologies. 8) To promote Multilingualism,
