As an organization that mainly deals with Social Theater and Theater for Kids, it is very important for us to disseminate good practices on Theater at a national and international level. Through the Social Theater Toolbox_2020 project we have aimed to encourage the dissemination of moments of discussion between Youth Workers who use theatrical techniques every day during their work or who wish to implement these techniques within their methodology. These techniques have been very effective and widely used in work with young people for some time now, but for us it was important to make them known in depth to Youth Workers, to allow them to carry out quality work, which has positive effects on young people in the local communities, the territories, the organizations that promote these projects and, indirectly, all the subjects and institutions that gravitate around them. Through the Social Theater Toolbox_2020 project, it was our intention to create an opportunity for discussion on the most common questions concerning the world of Social Theatre; we wanted to provide food for thought and tools to address the difficulties of Social Theater projects, but also to confront each other, receive feedback, exchange good practices and, last but not least, keep the youth workers' motivation high in using these techniques ,with hopefully increasingly encouraging results. The general objectives of the project were: - Improve the level of knowledge of the different branches of the Social Theatre - Contribute to a deep understanding of the specific characteristics of Social Theatre by focusing in particular on the contexts in which it can be applied - Develop practical skills in quality work and process management in local and international projects with young people - Develop sensitivity with respect to the local context, the territory and the community in which it operates - Increase/improve cultural and social sensitivity attitudes in the field of Youth Work - Encourage Youth Workers to act as sensitive and responsible social and intercultural actors in the planning and implementation phases - To support organizations that work in the field of youth education through theatre, the arts and cooperation in a safe and stimulating environment; - Provide practical and theoretical tools for quality work through Social Theater techniques, supported by the Non-Formal Education methodology; - Encourage the meeting and comparison between Youth Workers from different parts of Europe; promoting in this context the development and strengthening of European identity through art, with a view to equity and inclusion; - Recognize youth workers' skills and abilities (and help them in self-recognition of their skills, attitudes and qualities) through tools such as the Youthpass; - Dissemination of results and valorisation of good practices in all contexts of origin of the participants
