Objectives

The main objectives of the school's participation in the project were: Change the structure of the lesson organization by moving from the 33-40% learning paradigm to 55-65%, creating suitable conditions for the formation of competencies important for each student, consolidating the teacher's leadership. While implementing the changes that are relevant for each student, actively sharing the experience gained in the project, each participant had to include 2 colleagues in the modern lesson organization system, following the principle of supervision. Consolidate the consistent implementation of changes in the organization of the lesson and irreversible changes in the improvement of the lesson, continuing the lesson observation - reflection program "Colleague to colleague".

Background

It was important for our school to apply for the project, because it provides opportunities to get to know colleagues from different countries, to see, learn and apply new educational methods in our school, to observe the leadership of teachers, and to share experiences with colleagues from other countries. For our school, participation in the project was particularly relevant, because teacher leadership in the transition from teaching to learning paradigm is the main problematic area of activity in the school's strategic plan, which is important for teachers and the students who depend on the teacher's activities and their performance results. A teacher, working with outdated methods that do not meet the needs of the current child, cannot develop important competencies for him in the 21st century. These competences are acquired by working with modern methods, creating opportunities for the student to act on his own, not to wait and obey instructions. By participating in the project, we hoped to improve these competencies.
