The objectives of the project: 1) develop social emotional competences focusing on innovativeness, quality and effectiveness and aiming to improve the areas covered by these competencies: perception and control of one’s emotions, setting positive goals and their achievement, caring for others, management of interrelationships, responsible decision making; 2) improve quality of education and increase work efficiency aiming to participate in training courses under institutional priorities. The objective is to make educational process more engaging for students creating a motivating and inclusive environment which would encourage to achieve high results and become active member of local community and society; 3) ensure social and emotional well-being of students creating safe and inclusive environment where every student would feel valued and having the same opportunities to get a diploma and pursue careers like students from more stable backgrounds; 4) to involve more teachers and other staff in Erasmus+ activities.
The project was based on the following priorities or areas to be strengthened indicated in the institution strategy and Internationalization strategy of the institution: 1) lack of social emotional competencies among employees in being able to perceive and control their emotions (based on employees’ self-analysis, individual interviews, surveys); 2) improving quality of education and increasing work efficiency (a priority where teacher training and life-long learning is essential); 3) ensuring social and psychological well-being of students (an area which can be improved by school employees after gaining or improving skills and competencies in the field during training activities); 4) continuous involvement of teachers and other staff in activities of Erasmus+ programme.
