By participating in training in European educational institutions, teachers had the opportunity to learn about new educational practices that have an impact on improving educational activities and student progress. According to the results of the internal self-evaluation of the community, the gymnasium can enjoy relatively high evaluations of students and parents regarding communication and cooperation with parents, positive communication and cooperation between students and teachers (3.4 points out of 4). However, teacher-student cooperation in planning individual student learning goals and the steps to achieve them according to each student's capabilities were rated quite low. The students' academic achievements are also quite low, and the gymnasium faces the problem of attendance - a significant number of students miss classes for no reason. Such self-assessment results and absenteeism statistics prompted the search for solutions. One of them is participation in qualification courses of European educational institutions, improvement of knowledge and competences in pursuit of higher quality and more effective education responding to the abilities and needs of each student. Twice a year, a self-evaluation of the activities of the gymnasium is organized, in which the students expressed their opinion about the organization of training content (the teachers dominate in the lesson), as well as the lesson observation protocols of the school administration stated the same remarks: there was a lack of reflection on the organization of educational activities and the methodology of student self-evaluation. application, experiential training(s). We hoped that the experience of international qualification development would encourage teachers to apply more diverse educational practices, to try and search for solutions to achieve better results. And the managers lacked knowledge and practices in observing and analyzing the educational process, which would strengthen the learning organization: a more effective lesson observation process, communication, promotion of professional cooperation.
