This project would help address the following objectives: 1. To strengthen the competencies of the organization's adult educators in order to successfully organize adult education seminars and/or other educational activities in the field of adult education. 2. To develop the competencies of adult educators by improving existing and developing new training programs for adult learners in the areas of social-emotional competencies, creativity development, and problem-solving. 3. To increase the capacity of the members of the organization to network in international partnerships and develop new projects.
NGO Saulės stygos is a young organization active in the field of non-formal education. The members of it are trainers, psychologists, volunteers, and the administrative team. The aim is to act purposefully in the implementation of the idea of lifelong learning and to strengthen competencies in the field of adult education. The aim of the application was to organize activities aimed at promoting social inclusion, developing the creativity of adult learners, and encouraging the development of their social networks. The main needs of the organization and its members in developing activities were identified as follows: 1. To improve the competency of lecturers and trainers that would improve the quality of the training services provided to adult learners. 2. To improve networking in the field of adult education by developing the organization's links with local NGOs that take care of vulnerable groups and communities of parents of children with disabilities. The aim was to find appropriate forms of cooperation and organization of adult education. 3. To increase the internationalization of the organization's activities through the development and implementation of projects in the field of adult education, improving management.
