Background

The project need is justified by Kaunas Information Technology School (KITM) European Strategy of Internationalization (2015-2022), by which we foster the school's activities. It states that KITM functions and evolves in a constantly changing environment and is influenced by political, economic, social, cultural, technological and other factors. It is related to all the processes taking place in the country and is influenced by the processes of formation of the Common European Area of Education and Vocational Training. The philosophy of the school and its values are to educate a person who has a need for lifelong learning, is able to think freely, critically, independently and seek to realize himself. All members of the school create equal opportunities and humane interpersonal relationships on the basis of democracy. Based on the indicators set out in the School Strategic Plan and the European Internationalization Strategy, as well as the number of applicants for the Erasmus+ Contest 2018 and 2019, we increased the number of students mobility to 25 whereas teachers to 12 during the last year's application process. To ensure sustainable growth, we leave the same number of participants in this year's application process. It is important to note that in order to expand the school's network of international partners, we are starting to cooperate with new partners from Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic - after searching and receiving
