Objectives

Personal and professional skills acquired through volunteering are important resources for promoting education and employability. The active participation of young people in international activities has made a significant contribution to promoting tolerance, respect and social cohesion. In addition to providing a valuable service to society, young volunteers themselves have benefited greatly from participating in volunteering activities. Young people realized that taking the time to volunteer helps them make new friends, expand their network and improve their social skills. Youth Exchanges also realized that volunteering strengthens links with the community and expands the support network, giving young people the opportunity to practice and improve their social skills; can give a healthy boost to self-confidence, self-esteem and life satisfaction - you do good to others and to the community, you are an active citizen practicing active citizenship that gives you a natural sense of accomplishment, and the better you think about yourself, the more likely you are to have a positive outlook on your life and future goals. One of the most important aspects we have achieved with the project is related to one of the main priorities of Erasmus + - the fight against unemployment. With this project, we have shown volunteering to young people as an opportunity to tackle unemployment - volunteering gives you the opportunity to try a new career without making a long-term commitment, and it is a great way to volunteer directly in an organization that works for you. Participants realized that volunteering also provides opportunities for access to professional organizations or internships that can be beneficial to their careers. Volunteering has learned valuable work skills. With this project, we involved participants in a project that promotes volunteering, the benefits we get from volunteering, opportunities to volunteer; to recognize and reward volunteering and to share practices between participating countries; we provided an opportunity for young people to experience volunteering in practice for the benefit of the local community, developed the skills, attitudes and knowledge of the participants, and encouraged active participation in society; project participants developed ideas from volunteering to employment; discussing the values and norms of a good citizen - active citizens in society are those who care about others. The project inspired young people to become involved and actively participate in society as active citizens, promoted the values of European citizenship, promoted our diverse cultures and traditions, fostered tolerance and respect, demonstrated European cooperation in the youth field and gave our organization space to build and improve our own volunteering. quality. The main goals of the program were to motivate participants to participate in community life through volunteering rather than spending time in front of the TV or computer, to actively participate in their community and strive to build a better future for all, to work for the community, to understand that a good citizen that volunteering is an integral part of good citizenship.
