The aim of the project is to get the deeper understanting about the climate change situation in Europe. Lithuania does not have winters, every summer in Europe it sets new high temperature records.... What environmental actions, or more precisely, lack of them, are leading to global warming? What can we do ourselves to reduce the negative impact on the environment? European Commission's steps are optimistic: The European Commission has unveiled an ambitious green plan to spend trillion euros on climate change. The European Commission plans to invest up to a trillion euros over the next decade to meet the ambitious climate change goals, the most important of which is to bring the EU economy to climate-neutral by 2050. EC President Ursula von der Leyen sees the fight against climate change as a high priority for Commission. In December, it was presented the so-called 'European Green Course', which aims to transform the EU economy into a carbon economy in the Community by 2050. would be zero. This is to be achieved by reducing carbon emissions and finding ways to absorb carbon particles already present in the atmosphere. The name of the project, Health and Ecology, is broad: Health is perceived as health of each participant and the land / nature of European Union. As a result, health, ecology and human impact on the climate are major issues that we are concerned about. The project is a set of complex activities. In particular, a pre-planning visit will be organized to plan the implementation aspects of the project and agree on practical implementation issues. This will be followed by an international youth exchange to discuss the current health of the European Union: whether what is being done is sufficient. Are these measures being implemented too late? What can I do about it? All this is discussed with ecology experts, moderators. The final stage is the discussion and self-assessment of project activities. During the Youth Exchanges, we will organize many activities related to active lifestyle - education through games and sports activities. We will seek to broaden the participants' perception that wellness involves not only healthy lifestyle, active activity, but also a way of thinking, a philosophy of life related to ecology and a harmonious consensus with nature and the earth. As a result, hands-on activities and excursions will integrate well into content discussions, debates and mid-term and final project discussions / self-assessments. After the project, each participant will take stock of their competences and learning and we will have access to the Youthpass.
