Youth ON Again is originated from the need of young people to become more actively involved in local and regional life as young citizens, as youth participation and active involvement of young people in local and regional life are one of the key concerns in the European integration process and is one of the most important steps towards healthy societies. Youth active citizenship means young people getting involved in their local communities and democracy at all levels, from towns to cities to nationwide activity. Active citizenship can be as small as a campaign to clean up your street or as big as youth workers and leaders educating young people about democratic values, skills and participation. It is also relevant to the priority given in the Erasmus + programme to citizenship and active participation of young people. In order to reach our goal and objectives we, youngsters with the help of youth leaders and youth workers decided to share experience with our participants about how to promote the involvement of young people in local and regional activities and help them to increase initiatives dealing with a variety of youth issues. Therefore, the youth exchange aims to instill skills and raise competencies around active youth participation, empowerment and involvement of young people, as well as for the creation of local youth initiatives. The multinational approach is in line with the Erasmus + programme, and will allow all six promoters to share ideas and to mobilize the skills and tools necessary to motivate young people in becoming more aware of their rights as young citizens of Europe. Project promotes European cooperation in the youth field; develops solidarity and promotes tolerance towards different cultures among young participants and fosters mutual understanding between people in different countries; The outcome will focus on reaching people with fewer opportunities and those that are most vulnerable in society, as such, the promoters were also selected based on their ability to reach this demographic of society. AIM: The main aim of this youth exchange is to facilitate the development, implementation and involving actions for youth participation at local, regional and national level across Europe.
