We pursue that the participants to apply their knowledge and skills later when working with young people. The objectives of this project were: - To gain knowledge about emotional intelligence tools for supporting marginalized youth in the face of discrimination; - Learn new tools to support young people's emotional intelligence, resilience, self-worth, authenticity, etc; - Increase participants' understanding of the importance of emotional intelligence tools to support discriminating youth; - Develop new skills that would help meet the emotional needs of discriminated and underprivileged youth; - Develop youth workers' skills of authenticity, self-respect, self-esteem, self-confidence, resilience, courage and compassion, vulnerability, how to empower and support discriminated and marginalized youth to do the same; - To share best practices on how to support young people facing discrimination and crisis situations and to strengthen their intercultural communication and competences in working in a multicultural team. Through this project, we gave youth workers the competence to teach them to understand their emotional needs and to help underage youth understand theirs. One of the results was that when the youth workers imparted knowledge to the youth, the youth received a better emotional support system and guidance on how to understand their emotional needs, feel better and be more confident. This enabled them to improve and become more active in life areas. In these trainings, youth workers were not only trained in the field of emotional intelligence, but also indirectly taught how to use digital tools in their activities with young people. As there were several preparatory webinars led by instructors, participants also learned what tools can be used to conduct webinars, how to plan and conduct webinars, and how to make them interactive. Thus, it was a well-rounded learning experience for our participants who had the opportunity to improve their skills in various areas.
