The project "M&M - Multi-Perspective Learning & Multilingualism" was intended to contribute to the sustainable implementation of the ministerial teaching guidelines of the two countries Luxembourg and Germany regarding the régime préparatoire/inclusion at our school, which contributes to the realisation of the school development goals (Plans de développement scolaire 2018-21 and 2021-24) decided by the overall conference. The general aim of the project activities was to deepen the teaching competences of the project participants in the areas of project and action-oriented learning as well as the acquisition and expansion of their foreign language competences. As a basis for this, the project participants were to expand their methodological-didactic, media, linguistic and intercultural competences through language courses and further training in innovative teaching methods in other European countries. In the sense of school development and the dissemination of the acquired competences as a multiplier in the school, the project activities served the continuous teaching and school development in order to enable the student body to acquire more competences and better chances in their later working life.
The project aimed to improve the area of teaching and staff development, especially from the aspect of teaching and learning methods. On the one hand, the intention was to be able to implement the possibilities of project-based and bilingual learning even more strongly in the lessons by building up and deepening subject-specific and interdisciplinary key competences on the part of the teachers within this area. On the other hand, the project was intended to improve the foreign language competences of the teaching staff, with the institutional requirement that the colleagues master as many foreign languages as possible in order to be able to act as competent, polyglot role models for the students and as contact persons for parents and external partners, and thus to do justice to the school's status as a multinational melting pot.
