Objectives

Objectives of this project were: • To enable participants to understand the potential of Erasmus+ program for inclusion of participants with less opportunity and encourage them to use it • To provide needed information about the context and steps that precede to project application, same as about implementation and reporting process • To provide frame for exchange of good practices and experience when it comes to inclusive projects • To gain theoretical and practical step-by-step knowledge about development of the whole project application • To raise the overall quality of inclusive projects within Erasmus+ program, non-formal learning and youth work at international level • Positively affect involvement of young people with health problems and disability into Erasmus+ KA1 projects in the future by increasing capacities for development and implementation of inclusive projects By implementing this project, we wanted to achieve following: 1. To equip participants with competences within the project management field in order to increase the capacities of the partner organizations Project management competences are crucial for any civil society organization depending on grants. Since project management is universal and same rules, with slight modifications, can be applied to development of any project or grant, having competent people within organization is huge added value and inevitable part of any organization’s capacity. Throughout this project participants gained knowledge on project management in general (LFA), on every part of the PCM and specifically, on management of the projects within Erasmus+ program – from needs assessment to reporting and follow up. 2. To increase the quality of Erasmus+ projects and possibility for them to be approved Although KA1 projects, especially youth exchanges and training courses are not that complex, writing high quality proposal is not that simple while, at the same time, writing good proposal means to have all further steps on your mind and avoiding potential risks. By guiding participants through each steps, providing details, tips and tricks from the field and sharing experience, we are convinced that quality of the projects they will develop in the future and which will be implemented in their organization will be significantly higher compared with the projects done before this training. 3. To increase the awareness and number of Erasmus+ project which will include young people with fewer opportunities Erasmus+ program and projects financed through it provide amazing opportunity for inclusion of persons with fewer opportunities although, projects which include people with chronic health conditions or disabilities are still not enough considering risks they impose and complexity and demanding they bring. By sharing experiences and encouraging participants, we believe that organizations that took part in this project will feel more confident and readier to implement inclusive projects in the future. 4. To increase the visibility of Erasmus+ program in local communities and international level Through this project and ensuring visibility and later through dissemination of the project results, we aimed to increase the visibility of the program itself and opportunities it offers for all young people and for inclusions, both at local level through actions of each partner in their local levels and among people in their own local surrounding but also through our network, online activities and future projects which will be implemented. 5. To develop the network of organization which will keep cooperating through developed projects and keep having positive impact at European level by using opportunities provided by Erasmus+ program This project included 32 participants from 8 different organizations and countries and it provided perfect conditions for networking, especially through the new projects which started to be developed already during the training but also for any type of the cooperation that might happen in the future.
