The project wants to push students to make a new experience abroad, as well as to be open-minded for new experiences and cultures and to make new friendships abroad. It encourages the students to go abroad and leave their well-know environment in order to develop a more dynamic attitude and to become more independent. This will be a great advantage both for their future personal life and for their professional career.
Lycée du Nord has a long tradition in participating in student exchanges. Since 2008, Ln has cooperated with several companies and schools abroad to build up a network with partners for European mobilities for VET learners. Today, going abroad for an internship has become part of the school planning for business and administration students at LN. Nevertheless the small number of students going abroad per year is due to the fact that the number of students in business and administration and ICT has decreased over the last few years.
