Objectives

The aim of this project was to: - support the development of the school's teaching staff in order to introduce innovations and improve the quality of teaching; - to improve the foreign language knowledge of school teaching staff in order to be able to apply the use of new teaching methods in lessons (CLIL); - to improve the awareness and understanding of teaching staff about other cultures, offering them the opportunity to build international communication networks, participate in societies and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity; - to increase the school's capacity, attractiveness and international dimension, so that it can offer cooperation and educational programs that meet the needs of individuals, both in Europe and beyond. The implemented project contributes to the achievement of the goals set by the Internationalization Strategy developed by the School, because only the competences of the teaching staff are improved by introducing innovative and 21st century teaching methods. New cooperation partners were acquired, with whom cooperation continues. The examples of good practice obtained during the exchange of experience were transferred to the educational institution.

Background

The project was submitted in order to, in accordance with the Internationalization Strategy and Human Resources Strategy developed by the School, develop and improve pedagogical digital and English language skills, as well as provide teachers with additional experience that contributes to the individual development of each teacher, as well as the development of the school as a whole. Previously, the school had no experience in implementing Erasmus+ school sector projects, general education teachers did not have the opportunity to exchange experiences abroad and improve their skills in courses.
