By implementing the project, we wanted to improve teachers' professional and foreign language competences.Attending the courses will improve interdisciplinary skills and create a collaborative learning environment.Tasks were set: improving the methodology of subjects, creating a cooperative learning environment, transforming the knowledge and skills acquired by teachers to students, learning CLIL methodology, improving the foreign language skills of teachers.During the project, will be introduced the latest trends in teaching methodology, renewed the interest in the subject and improved the ability to critically evaluate work methods that have been used till now, will be developed a deeper understanding of the cultures of the EU countries and the European community.The new teaching methods will allow students to transfer the acquired knowledge and skills to previously unforeseen and real life situations. During the project,teachers will share their experience, promoting the implementation of a diverse range of methodological techniques and examples of EU good practice in school.By implementing projects, new opportunities have opened for the school, which will allow evaluating the school's priorities for the next planning period.
We applied for the project based on the goals in the school's Development Plan for introduction of the new curriculum and the development of competencies.To achieve them, we prioritized the professional development of teachers and the improvement of foreign language.An excellent tool is the attendance of international courses for acquiring new knowledge and skills, improving foreign language, gaining an insight into the education systems of EU, acquiring the ability to critically evaluate what they have learned, and transfering examples of good practice to work.We pay attention to revising the curriculum and methods, reducing the prevailing fragmentation, and the passive acquisition of knowledge detached from real-life situations.Learning these skills ensures the ability to organize and regulate the learning process, to learn with understanding and enjoyment.The result of visits is aimed at providing opportunities for cooperation, introducing of diverse methodological techniques and the implementation the competence based approach in the school environment. Participating in the project opens new development opportunities for the school, allows to share experiences and evaluate the school's priorities for the next planning period.
