The specific aims of the project to enhance teacher and school competencies are as follows: Prepare teachers to work according to the new national education standard Improve teachers' skills in using IT tools in teaching various subjects Improving the quality of teaching and learning through the development of competency-based teaching and learning approaches Improving assessment as part of the teaching process in the context of developing competency-based teaching and learning approaches Updating the need for the acquisition of various standard skills in the learning process Developing the individual abilities of students through a differentiated approach to teaching Improving teachers' ability to effectively guide student learning Finding motivation tools for individual student learning both in school and in various extracurricular activities Improving the school's international cooperation opportunities, capacity for implementing European projects, finding new partners to share experience and jointly improve the teaching process, thus giving it a European dimension, and also improving the knowledge and experience of school management personnel on the management of the quality of school work and the organization of school work.
This project was implemented with the aim of increasing the professional skills and abilities of teachers at Daugmale Primary School, focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning through the development of competency-based teaching and learning approaches in the context of applying IT skills in various subjects, as well as improving and enhancing international cooperation with schools in other European countries in subjects such as Drama, Design, and Technology.
